Planning Reunions

We love to get together in real life!! As great as it is to email, IM, chat, blog and stay in touch virtually, there is no substitute for seeing each other in person. This list is not complete but here are some of the events that bring us together:

See http://www.axomtm.org/25 for more on ZU's 25th Anniversary celebration, September 27, 2008!! Every five years, the collegiate chapter hosts a Carnation Ball in the fall to which all the alumnae are invited. The first one was held in 1993 in honor of Zeta Upsilon's 10th Anniversary. It coincided with the chapter winning Alpha Chi Omega's highest honor, the National Trophy, and their move into their first permanent home at 11421 Bellflower Road. In 2003, the weekend included house tours Friday evening, Carnation Ball Saturday night and an alumnae family picnic Sunday.

    Pledge Class Reunions
Some classes plan reunions to mark big milestones in fun locations like Las Vegas.

    Weddings, Bachelorette Parties, Showers
Rare is the wedding photo posted on our website that does not include an AXO sister as a bridesmaid if not several!

    Alpha Chi Omega Convention
National holds a convention every other summer and they are a great opportunity to meet Alpha Chis from all over the country. A huge bonus when you meet old friends from Zeta Upsilon! Summer 2004 in Orlando there were 7 ZUs for Reunion Dinner plus 2 former ZU advisors. Good fun! Mark your calendar for July 14-17, 2006 in Chicago!
