Behind the Scenes at MTM
This blog is a day-to-day update of what is going on in Mu Tau Mu.
Eventually we'll move the older journal entries from our livejournal
space but for now to read the archives (entries prior to May 19, 2005), head over to http://www.livejournal.com/users/amzmtm/.
Things you'll hear about here include notification that new photos or other items are posted on our private website
(more about the site is here),
more detail on our
activities than you see in our month-by-month history blog, news from
Case, news from the collegiate chapter, news from Alpha Chi Omega at
large, and occasionally fun new ideas on their way to implementation.
Links to the private site will take you directly to the item mentioned.
To protect the privacy of our members, only first names will be given.

going global!
As Alpha Chi Omega's first virtual alumnae chapter, we feel it is our responsibility and privilege to help other similar groups get their start in the virtual world, and so we have created a "how to" section on this website that will hopefully be a valuable resource for many sisters and future alumnae chapters. We'll be expanding over the next month - if you have any questions that aren't addressed, please send them to us at axozu@yahoo.com and we'll include them in our FAQ section! Thank you!! http://axomtm.squarespace.com/global/

We are so proud!!
We are very proud to report that Mu Tau Mu is a finalist for two national awards that will be given out at Alpha Chi Omega Convention later this month in Chicago: in the Seeking the Heights Awards, we are finalist in the Membership Outreach category; and in the Special Recognition Awards, we could win in the Creative Idea category! This is amazing recognition for our very young chapter! To read our awards application, visit our private site. Thank you to everyone in MTM who helped with the writing and editing of our application!

Thank you Alpha Chi Omega Foundation!
Mu Tau Mu has been awarded a grant from Alpha Chi Omega Foundation toward our delegate’s Convention expenses! Thank you Alpha Chi Omega Foundation!! And thank you Lisa (our Treasurer and Delegate) for writing a great grant application! Details here.
Website Traffic Report
MTM's Executive Board requested a report on the traffic on this - our public site - http://axomtm.squarespace.com. A copy is available here. Thanks to everyone who has visited - we've had 11,000 hits since we created this site just under 11 months ago! The report includes our popular pages, queries that led visitors to our site (for example, from google.com) and a monthly and year-to-date summary of overall traffic.

Let's Get Cooking! Please submit your recipes for our cookbook!!
I am pleased to announce that Mu Tau Mu is assembling our first ever cookbook of our favorite recipes! A big thank you to Heather ZU '93 for coordinating the project. I hope you will all submit LOTS of recipes and if you have some you'd like to see included please reply below so we can be sure to include them! LITB, Amy Z.
Dear Alpha Chi Omega Sister,
We need your help to collect recipes for a fundraising cookbook. Please submit as many of your favorite recipes via the internet to our unique recipe collecting website. We will be selling advanced copies soon and will contact you about how to purchase the books. Every book we sell benefits MTM, Zeta Upsilon and Alpha Chi Omega directly. And the books make great Holiday, Birthday, Mother’s Day, Wedding, new home and Hostess gifts… so be sure to purchase many!
To reach the website: go to http://www.fundcraft.com Type in the Web ID 4199-06IH and proceed to the section titled Short Cut Online and click on post a recipe. Choose what section of the cookbook you want the recipe to be included in, add a title, ingredients and instructions and most importantly, your name. We want everyone who submits a recipe to be recognized in the book. Symbols can be inserted next to your recipe to notate a specific recipe type.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via the attached email address or use the instructions/help button. I have included a list of the recipe sections and the symbol choices below to make gathering recipes to post easy for you.
Thank you so much for your postings!
Love in the bond and Best wishes,
Heather, ZU '93, MTM. hhintz@hotmail.com
