Behind the Scenes at MTM
This blog is a day-to-day update of what is going on in Mu Tau Mu.
Eventually we'll move the older journal entries from our livejournal
space but for now to read the archives (entries prior to May 19, 2005), head over to http://www.livejournal.com/users/amzmtm/.
Things you'll hear about here include notification that new photos or other items are posted on our private website
(more about the site is here),
more detail on our
activities than you see in our month-by-month history blog, news from
Case, news from the collegiate chapter, news from Alpha Chi Omega at
large, and occasionally fun new ideas on their way to implementation.
Links to the private site will take you directly to the item mentioned.
To protect the privacy of our members, only first names will be given.

Recruitment at Case!
Recruitment is coming up at Case and for the second year the sisters have asked us to help with the Workshop they are holding the weekend before Recruitment begins. MTM is going to pay for the bulk of the expenses (thank you Maura ZU '86 for doing the shopping and organizing all that) but it is always nice to include a few home-baked or special treats so if you have time next week to drop something baked or a fun snack off at the AXO house, I know the sisters would appreciate it.
For those of us who live far away, now is the time to send a fun card to the house wishing the chapter luck with Recruitment!! The address is Alpha Chi Omega, 11421 Bellflower, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
For more details - about the party dates, times and locations, etc. visit here.
Good luck ladies!!

Keep Kathy in your thoughts and prayers
Please keep Kathy ZU '86 in your thoughts and prayers as her mom is in the hospital in the CICU with pneumonia. Details are here.

Good news - Kathy's mom is breathing on her own again and should be moved out of the ICU in the next few days. She is not out of the woods yet but things are looking good.
PS happy anniversary Kathy & Tim!!

Kathy's mom is now out of the hospital and in a rehab facility. However, the news is not all good as she was diagnosed with cancer while hospitalized and her treatment options may be limited. Please keep sending Kathy thoughts, prayers and cards. Her address etc. is here.
