The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation is seeking Alpha Chi Omegas, collegiate and alumnae, who need financial assistance for educational expenses for the 2008-09 academic year!

More than $103,000 in scholarships was awarded to Alpha Chi Omegas, both undergraduate and graduate students, for the current 2007-08 academic year. What’s even more exciting is that the Foundation has more than $120,000 to award in scholarships for 2008-09!
The application deadline is quickly approaching! All completed 2008-09 scholarship applications and supporting materials must be RECEIVED at Alpha Chi Omega Headquarters by March 15, 2008. Visit the home page of our web site at www.alphachiomega.org to complete the application electronically.
What scholarships are available for whom?
• Several scholarships are earmarked for members whose chapter is in and/or who reside in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.
• There are scholarships earmarked for those studying in certain fields including English, law, engineering, communications, speech, nursing, drama, journalism, social services and music.
• Of course, many scholarships are available to all qualified applicants regardless of chapter, state of residency or field of study.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This is something we commemorate as part of Domestic Violence Awareness, Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy. On Monday, April 23rd at 9pm on the Lifetime Channel . A Life Interrupted : The Debbie Smith Story premiers. Inspired by actual events, it is the story of a woman who changed laws and made us all safer after she was the victim of rape.
